Maddie graduated from the University of Virginia in 2020 with degrees in Kinesiology and Religious Studies. During her time in Chi Alpha, she developed a heart for missions through the discipleship she received, the strong Christian community she found, and her experience as a Core Group leader. After graduating, Maddie completed the Chi Alpha internship, expecting to then head to graduate school. God had different plans, and six years later, she is still serving students at UVA—now as our Assistant Director. Maddie loves meeting one-on-one with students, diving into Scripture and spiritual formation, and leading spring break mission trips! In her free time, you can find Maddie sipping Shenandoah Joe's coffee, playing and watching soccer, and trying new recipes with her husband, Thomas.
