Pete and Amy Bullette
Director

Pete and Amy graduated from Southern Illinois University where they were both involved with Chi Alpha. After graduation, Pete and Amy got married and went to St. Louis where Pete worked as a CPA for KPMG and Amy worked as a registered dietitian in a local Health Care Clinic. After a year in St. Louis, God called them into Chi Alpha, so they quit their jobs and moved across the nation to train for ministry. They spent a year working with Chi Alpha at Georgetown University and then in 2000, came to Charlottesville to start Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at the University of Virginia! Pete and Amy are passionate about Jesus and helping students grow deeper in their walk with Christ! They have three wonderful children: Ian, Nevaeh, and Jeremiah!

Michelle is excited to serve students and build the kingdom at UVA! When Michelle is not in the office, you can find her learning new dances, cooking fun recipes, or watching a Disney Channel movie.

Christopher Cole

Christopher is the son of two Chi Alpha directors from Montana and got to see God change lives through Chi Alpha during his childhood and teenage years. He joined Chi Alpha himself during his tenure at the University of Central Arkansas before graduating with a B.S in History in 2017. After Arkansas, Christopher moved to Missouri and graduated with a Masters of Theological Studies from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2019. Then in 2020, Christopher completed the Chi Alpha internship and joined the XA at UVA staff. Thrilled to be doing ministry at his dream school, Christopher can be found playing basketball, quoting a variety of films, or hanging out with students until the wee hours of the morning.

Thomas Hamilton

Thomas graduated from the University of Virginia in 2022 with a degree in Statistics. Thomas came into college as an agnostic person but gave his life to Christ during his time with Chi Alpha. Through his Core Group and the community of Jesus, Thomas experienced the love of God, and it radically changed the plans he had for his life. By the end of his third year, he began to feel that the Lord was calling him into ministry, and he worked as an intern after graduating. Thomas decided to stay on our staff for the near future, trusting that God has much more to teach him and steward through him. In his free time, Thomas keeps it simple — he loves to go on walks, cook new recipes, work with his hands, and put on his favorite 70’s music.

He got involved with a small group in Chi Alpha on move-in day, setting him on a trajectory towards an active, deep, and transformative relationship with Jesus throughout his four years in college. As graduation approached, Daniel considered a job offer back home, but he felt called to serve the Lord by staying at UVA, completing the internship with Chi Alpha, and joining staff! When not working at the best job in the world, Daniel's most likely watching sports (go Braves), listening to every genre of music, or at the gym.
